Terms & Conditions

To ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable stay, we kindly ask you to abide by our terms and conditions:

  • A boom gate fob will be issued along with your keys at check in, for safe entry and exit.  The fob is provided for your use only and those staying with you in your accommodation.
  • A boom gate code can also be requested on arrival. This code can only be used by those staying with you in the designated accommodation.
  • Each dwelling has their own designated parking spot. Please park in these areas only and avoid parking on any roadways to ensure a safe environment.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas. If smoking is detected in any accommodation or booked function areas, a cleaning fee of $1000.00 will be charged.
  • Outdoor smoking – please safely put your spent cigarette butts in appropriate rubbish containers and do NOT throw them in our gardens or on our roads.  If any butts are found surrounding your booked accommodation, a cleaning fee of $500 will be charged.
  • Lighting fires or BBQs in non-designated areas is NOT permitted at any time due to the park’s rural setting.  Fines will apply.
  • Driving within the Park is at a walking pace only (10km) and all guests must adhere to the posted speed limits for the safety of all guests.  This also applies to bicycles, skateboards and scooters (electric or otherwise).
  • It the responsibility of parents and guardians to supervise their children at all times while staying in the park, for their safety and safety of others. This includes walking or riding around the Park, visits to amenities blocks and the swimming pool.
  • Keep noise levels low, particularly before 8 am and after 10 pm. Excessive noise, including loud music, televisions, and generators, may result in a request to leave the premises, which may forfeit your paid accommodation.
  • Our swimming pool and BBQ area is for the use of our guests staying in the Park and homeowners.  The swimming pool is open during Reception Hours.
  • No glass is allowed in or around the pool area.
  • Please keep the area around the pool, BBQ and playground clean for the enjoyment and safety of all.  If you require BBQ equipment, we have equipment available at Reception.
  • Place all rubbish in the allocated bins scattered around the Park – this avoids any furry creatures helping themselves to leftovers and making a mess.
  • We ask that you do not feed any of our local wildlife – food scraps can cause them harm, and we like to keep all our friendly animals safe and healthy.
  • Do not damage any of our lovely gardens and stick to all the allocated pathways and roads.
  • Our powered and ensuite sites are for campervans and trailers only
    Tent camping on the sites is strictly prohibited.

 

In case of emergencies, dial 000 for Police/Fire/Ambulance services immediately.

In the unlikely event of an emergency, please follow all Park staff instructions and directions.  It is recommended to familiarise yourself with the emergency procedures. Fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and first aid kits are available on-site for your safety.

 

Rates, Deposits, Cancellations and Refund Policy

  1. Rates: Our rates are charged on a nightly basis.  All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST. All rates are up to two people with additional charges for each additional guest, including children.
  2. When making your reservation, please make sure you provide the correct numbers of guests staying on site, including children. This is particularly important in the unlikely event of an emergency to ensure all guests are accounted for.
  3. Rates changes: Management reserves the right to update rates, pricing and all terms and conditions for any reservations.  Management reserves the right to cancel reservations where appropriate notice is given.
  4. Extra-Person Charges:  If you plan to have additional guests joining you during your stay, extra-person charges apply. These charges can vary depending on the type of accommodation and the number of additional guests. Please inform us in advance, and we will make the necessary arrangements.  Please note that during high demand and peak times, our extra-person charges may vary.  We recommend checking the specific details for these periods.
  5. Visiting guests: all visitors must report to Reception.  Any visitors not staying overnight must leave our park no later than 10.00pm.
  6. Deposit:  To secure your reservation and ensure we are expecting you, we kindly request a deposit for the first night’s accommodation at the time of reservation/s.  Full payment is taken on the morning of your arrival from the nominated card. Please note that during high demand and peak times, our deposit requirements may vary.  We recommend checking the specific details for these periods.
  7. Reception Hours:  Our friendly team are more than happy to assist make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We are open every day as follows:
  • Monday to Friday 8.am – 7.00pm
  • Saturday 9.00am – 4.00pm
  • Sunday and Public Holidays 9.00am – 3.00pm.
  1. Arrival, Check In and Late Check in: Check in is available from 2.00pm Monday to Friday, and from 12pm Saturday and Sunday.
    If you expect to arrive outside of our opening hours, give us a call and we can arrange an easy way to collect your key and guide you to your accommodation.
    PLEASE NOTE: during our peak periods, check-in times may vary. If you have any concerns, please call Reception.
  2. Departure, Check Out and Late Checkout:  Check out is by 10am.  Remember to return your keys to Reception on departure.  Any keys that are not returned incur a $100 replacement fee.
    For late checkout requests – please advise us prior to the day of check out and we will do our best to accommodate your request.  Late checkout fees may apply.
  3. Cancellation and Amendments:  We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. If you need to cancel, amend, or adjust your reservation, simply inform us up to 48 hours before 2.00pm on the day of your scheduled arrival. In such cases, we can accommodate your request, including refunding your deposit.  If you have made your reservation via an online provider (Bookings.com, Expedia, Park Booker etc.) you will need to return to that provider for their cancellation and amendment terms. Please note that during high demand and peak times, our cancellation and amendment policy may vary.  We recommend checking the specific details for these periods.
  4. Late Cancellations:  Regrettably, if you cancel your reservation within 48 hours of your scheduled arrival, we are unable to refund your deposit. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, as it allows us limited time to secure alternative reservations. If you have made your reservation via an online provider (Bookings.com, Expedia, Park Booker etc.) you will need to return to that provider for their cancellation and amendment terms.  Please note that during high demand and peak times our cancellation and amendment policy may vary.  We recommend checking the specific details for these periods.
  5. Identification Requirement:  For check-in purposes and to comply with regulations, please remember to bring a valid government-issued photo identification, such as your driver’s license.
  6. Pets: Assistance and Guide Dogs are welcomed. Show and small dogs are welcomed but must be kept in a dog trailer.  No pets are permitted inside any accommodation. All pets must be registered with reception. Management has the right to disapprove any pets at their discretion.  Any evidence of pets inside accommodation that is not pre-approved by Reception will incur a cleaning $300.
  7. Credit Card Fee:  There is a merchant fee of 1.15% for all payments made with Visa Card or Mastercard.

 

General Agreement of Occupancy

By staying at our Park, you agree that:

  • Management has full and complete control of all areas within the Park and surrounds. Any persons undertaking any occupancy must comply with any directions issued.
  • Your stay does not create tenancy or landlord-tenant rights. We provide you with a license to stay and use of the proprietor’s property, which we can terminate at any time without providing a reason – including the direction to vacate the area at any time.
  • You are responsible for all costs relating to any damage of proprietor’s property or to any other guest by the act, omission or default of the occupier/s.
  • Your account will remain in good standing, ensuring it remains paid in full at all times
  • Park staff have the right to enter any occupied accommodation at any time for servicing or inspection purposes.
  • Upon vacating the accommodation, it will be left in a clean condition and return any used crockery and cutlery to their original places. Failure to do so may result in a $150 cleaning fee.  Any damage made during occupancy may also incur a damages fee
  • No illicit drugs will be brought into any accommodation or the park premises. Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of your reservation. You also accept any imposed cleaning fees without notice.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas. If smoking is detected in any accommodation or booked function areas, a cleaning fee of $1000.00 will be charged.
  • The key and fob for your accommodation is to be returned upon departure. Failure to do so or loss of the key or fob will incur a $100 replacement charge.
  • Responsibility for your personal belongings, money, valuables, goods, and vehicles brought onto the Park premises remains with you. The Park and its staff are not responsible for their safekeeping or liable for any loss or theft.
  • Not to make any claims against the Park or its staff for damage or loss to your belongings, regardless of how or where the damage or loss occurred. As the registered guest, you are financially responsible for any loss or damage caused by your visitors during their stay.

 

Weekly Rates & Long Term Accommodation Reservations
For guests staying longer term, we are able to offer weekly rates.  Please enquire with Reception as to available options

 

Weekly Rates – Powered and Ensuite Sites

  • Our powered and ensuites sites are available for 28 nights ONLY. The park must be vacated by both the guest and vehicle for 24 hours before another 28-night booking can be made.
  • Can only be organised directly with Reception, and not through third-party’s
  • No part week payments – all weeks must be paid in full, regardless of early check-out.
  • No security deposit is required for these sites
  • During high peak periods (e.g. Summernats) we cannot guarantee accommodation. If accommodation is available, it will be charged at the specific high-peak period rates for the dates that fall under this period.

 

Electric Vehicles
There are no charging stations on site for any electric vehicles. Please refer to EV Charging Stations in Australia – EV Charging Stations for the nearest charge stations.

Charging directly from electrical outlet is NOT permitted for insurance reasons. Fines of $500 will immediately apply.

 

Summernats Festival

Summernats 2027 (7 January 2027 – 10 January 2027)

The Summernats Festival is a lively festival, and we want all participants to enjoy staying with us in a safe and secure environment.  For Summernats 2027 we are implementing the following to make the process of reservations and staying fair for everyone attending – and without surprises.

Reservations

  • Reservations can ONLY be made directly with our Reception team. Third-party reservations are not accepted and will be cancelled.
  • In 2027, we will continue with priority reservations for those that have stayed with us previously. All 2026 reservations will automatically transfer to the Summernats dates in 2027. This hold will remain in place until 5pm on Wednesday 14 January 2026 – NO EXCEPTIONS.
    • If you have been a regular in past years for more than 3 times history and have had to miss a year, you will be put on the first reserve list.
  • There is a minimum 4-night reservation – NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • All accommodation types are requests only. We will do our best to secure the requested accommodation type and location – however there are no guarantees for any specific accommodation type or location.  Management reserves the right to make changes particularly should there be operational requirements.

 

Payment

  • At the time of reservation for the following year a $200 deposit is required to hold the request
  • To ensure you keep your reservation active, all reservations must be paid as follows:
  • February 25th, 2026 – One night’s deposit
  • July 31st, 2026 – 50% of total reservation
  • 1st December, 2026 – reservations to be paid in full

Failure to pay on time may result in your reservation being cancelled without further notice

  • Valid credit cards will need to be provided to secure the reservation.
  • Invalid credit cards or credit cards with insufficient funds will immediately invoke a cancelled reservation without notice.
  • Follow up of payments not able to be charged will not be undertaken.  Please diarise the dates accordingly.
  • We can offer payment plans – please enquire with our Reception team by emailing on [email protected] if you would like to set up a plan.

Guests

  • The primary guest – the name of the reservation/s – is the person responsible for the reservation.
  • The primary guest will be responsible for all payments and all individuals staying within that reservation/s.
  • The primary guest will ensure that all guests that are staying in the accommodation are declared.
  • At the time of full payment 1 December 2026 – all guests will be confirmed. Changes to guests from 1 December 2026 will incur additional charges.
  • Any changes to guest numbers staying in the accommodation must be made BEFORE arrival. Any changes to reservations requested on the day will NOT be accommodated.
  • Boom-gate fobs will be issued alongside the keys to the primary guest. The fob is only to be used by the guests within the assigned accommodation and remains the responsibility of the primary guest.
  • Wrist bands will be issued for registered guests and must be worn at all times – no exceptions. Management reserves the right to withhold access without a wrist band.
  • Banned individuals will not be welcome back to our Park. Should banned individuals enter as a guest of a primary guest reservation holder (either staying overnight or even visiting) all guests under that reservation will have their reservations terminated instantly with no refunds payable. All individuals on the primary guest reservation will also join the banned list.  Antisocial behaviour is taken seriously and will not be tolerated.

 

Vehicles – travelling, transport and show vehicles

We welcome vehicles of all shapes and sizes during the Summernats festival and ask that, when confirming your reservation, you let us know how many cars are travelling with you. Please also abide by the following guidelines:

  • For safety purposes NO vehicles of any kind can be parked on common roads or in other public areas, such as the oval.
  • Our Garden Knome requests that you please avoid parking on the grass, and do not move our pot plants.
  • If you require storage of your trailer/s – let us know in advance so we can make arrangements with you.
  • No car washing on site is permitted at any time.
  • All Park speed limits must be adhered to at all times for the safety of all guests and homeowners, including children and the elderly.
  • Please be mindful to keep noise to an appropriate level at all times.  No excessive noise before 7.00am after 10.00pm – no exceptions.  Management reserves the right to terminate reservations in the event of excessive noise.

 

Cancellations and Refunds

  • All cancellation and refund terms and conditions are not negotiable
  • All cancellations must be made before 5pm on the dates specified
  • Please be aware of all key dates and conditions below. It is the responsibility of the primary guest to ensure all payments are made on time
